Abstract

Background. The problem of restoring the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has acquired critical importance due to the intensity of combat operations and significant losses. The purpose of the article is to highlight the main factors affecting the effectiveness of restoring combat capability under the legal regime of martial law.

Methods. The study was conducted using the following methods: analysis and synthesis to define the research problem and goals; content analysis of scientific sources and practical combat experience to systematize influence factors; generalization and systematization for preparing research conclusions.

Results. External (unmanageable) and internal (manageable) factors have been systematized. It is proven that internal factors have the greatest influence: activities of the combat capability restoration actors regarding replenishment of personnel, weapons and military equipment (WME), resupply of logistics, execution of measures to restore the morale and psychological state of personnel, and combat integration training; the unit's personnel strength, morale and psychological state, equipment availability, logistical sufficiency, and training level at the beginning of the restoration process.

Conclusions. The research results can be used in the development of regulatory documents for combat capability restoration, in practical restoration activities, and during further research in scientific institutions.
