The article provides a variant of calculating the combat capabilities of a mechanized unit (compound), provided it is equipped with Western models of weapons and military equipment (OMT), taking into account the relevant coefficients of combat effectiveness.
It was determined that the S3 structural unit of the combined military headquarters is intended for the organization, coordination and implementation of battle planning (actions), training units, managing them during the conduct of battle (actions), as well as conducting tactical calculations and preparing and providing proposals to the commander for the development of action options, conducting their analysis and comparison, including for defeating armored targets and enemy manpower.
The defined initial data for calculating the duration of the headquarters' work on the spot are the actual distance of the control point (PU) from the units operating in front, the permissible distance of the PU according to the conditions of the situation, the time for folding and unfolding, the speed of movement of the units operating in front and the PU during its movement. giving. This allows you to calculate the time for the commander to make a decision and the time to work out directive documents (preliminary and combat orders, combat orders), which define the order of operations of the units and their combat tasks.
From the list of calculations carried out by the governing bodies, the article examines the combat capabilities of a mechanized unit (compound) to attack the ground enemy with the fire of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, anti-tank weapons and small arms, including western samples.
The determined training combat potentials of the main types of weapons and military equipment allow you to calculate the potential combat capabilities of operational-tactical units and determine the effectiveness of the fire system as a component of the construction of a combined military battle (organization of tactical actions).
The given dependencies for determining the probability of hitting a target with any weapon for an independent and constant number of shots allow you to calculate: the potential capabilities of a unit (combination) to hit the enemy's air attack means, in particular, UAVs.
