RESEARCH ON THE POSSIBILITY OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF THE CURRENT ANALYTICAL WORK OF INTELLIGENCE UNITS

The paper notes that to significantly improve the quality of modern analytical work, it is necessary to master structured analytical methods of analytical activity. Whether you are preparing a short, clearly focused intelligence information for a customer, or other material with greater detail that will satisfy the main customer, it is necessary for the analyst to identify more than one key customer for intelligence information. Structured analytical methods recommend writing several versions of articles, while adapting each to different key customers. It is usually a good strategy to prepare outlines of both articles before you start researching and writing. Then, when you start writing the first article, you will know what information to keep and later include in the second article. When preparing your intelligence, ask yourself an intelligence question - what is the key problem or issue that your target audience is struggling with or will have to deal with in the future. What is their biggest concern or need at the moment? Make sure that the key question is clearly focused, can be practically addressed, and can be addressed in more than one way. What is the main point you want to convey to your key client or clients? What is the main purpose or key message you would convey to your client if you had the opportunity to talk to them? The message should be formulated as a short, clear, and direct statement before you begin writing your intelligence. Sometimes it is easier to understand the message if you discuss your article with a colleague or supervisor and then write down the main theme or conclusion that emerges from that conversation. With your main message in mind, can you present this message clearly, directly, and convincingly to your intelligence client?
