Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the use of modern small arms platforms by assault groups. The article reflects the classification and use of combat ground platforms by assault units during military operations.
The study used such general scientific methods of cognition as analysis, synthesis, systematization and comparison. The results of the study show that progress in the development of modern small arms platforms significantly enhances the combat potential of defense units both in open spaces and in urbanized areas. The weapon platforms are optimized for use in a variety of climatic conditions, where compactness, maneuverability and low visual profile are critical, which contributes to the effective camouflage of the weapon system. The rapid integration of modern technologies ensures high speed and cross-country ability, which are important for rapid response and rapid adaptation to changes in tactical situations.
The high level of protection of the system's hull, including protection against firearms and small artillery ammunition fragments, contributes to the successful execution of military operations without the involvement of shooters on the battlefield. Versatility, ease of operation and the ability to perform quick field maintenance without the use of special tools increase the effectiveness of these platforms in combat conditions. In particular, an analysis of Ukrainian-made models such as ShaBlya, Ironclad, Lynx, Luty, Myrotvorets, Hunter, CAMEL, Laska 2.0, and Centaur demonstrates their significant potential for solving complex tactical problems. Prospects for the massive introduction of combat platforms include a radical increase in the technological level of combat operations, automation of processes and changes in the tactics of warfare. The practical significance of the study lies in the development of recommendations for the introduction of modern small arms platforms in the combat training and equipment of assault units.
